Smiles for FREEdom We are looking forward to another Smiles for FREEdom event November 8th, 2024 from 7am-2pm!Smiles for FREEdom is a non-profit organization designed to provide free dental care services for veterans and active service members within our local communities. Volunteer dental care providers, including specialists, dentists, registered dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff, may work together to provide happier and healthier smiles to those who have provided us the freedom to do so. Nationally, since 2015, more than 680 veterans have been treated, and over $1,000,000 in free dental care services have been provided. Locally, our office, Smile More Spokane Family Dentistry (formerly Bryan Hill DDS), with the help of our local partners have provided more than $44,500 in free dental care to 68 local veterans!  Dental care is a growing need in our country and approximately less than ten percent of veterans qualify for dental services. In order to qualify for VA dental care, a veteran must be considered 100% disabled or have been specifically dentally harmed while in service. With the importance that dental health places an impact on general health, it is important for us to help those who have served our country and communities. With the importance of having a smile that is pain-free and confident, Smiles For FREEdom provides a way for dental offices to proudly give back to their local heroes. Participants for these events are veterans or local military service members. Services provided will be appointment-based only and participants will not need to stand in line throughout the day. All services provided on this day will be FREE! All work will be provided at the highest standards of quality and care that we would provide on any given day to our wonderful patients. Free dental services on this day will include a combination of diagnostic services, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and other possible dental health services based upon individual needs. It is important to us to give back to the community and to help others get out of pain and into happier and healthier smiles. We are proud to serve our veterans in this way!  Our Smiles For Freedom Event will be hosted at our office located at Smile More Spokane Family Dentistry, 9671 N Nevada St., Suite 200 in Spokane, WA.
